We are a collaborative team of researchers, scientists, physicians-scientists, physicians, and engineers coming together to tackle some of the most intractable diseases of humankind. We use a model system in human patient samples to explore finding causes and cures of the disease.

Mr. John Davis, MA, JD
Davis Law Offices
Mr. Davis is a corporate lawyer with offices in Toronto and Tokyo. He obtained his law degree from Queens University and then a master's degree in law from the University of Tokyo. He has been practicing law for more than 3 decades now.

Purnima Bhat
I am a Junior at the University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB) majoring in Neuroscience, with a UAB Blazer full Scholarship. I have a non-profit project with my friends on tele-medicine for inner city and rural communities (icr-tmed.org) as well as I teach math, science and reading to foster home kids through "A Door of Hope". I do research during the school year at UAB (in Prof Prasanna Krishnamurthy's lab, on OLA1 in heart) and during summers at Emory (in Prof Guy Benian's lab, on unc45 in aging heart) using mice and C elegans.
